The intersection is tentatively scheduled to reopen the week of Aug. 13, according to the Butler County Engineer’s Office.
During the closure, local access will be maintained for residents, businesses, and emergency vehicles up to the project limits, but motorists will not be permitted to pass through the actual construction zone.
Detours will be posted.
A second nearby project — to improve storm drainage on Millikin Road near Jackie Drive — will take place concurrently.

That project is also expected to be completed by mid-August, according to the engineer’s office.
W.G. Stang LLC of Hamilton was awarded the contracts for both projects, having submitted low bids of $686,169 for the roundabout and $980,279 for the drainage project, according to the engineer’s office.
State, county and township funds will be used for the roundabout project, while funding for the drainage improvements is provided by the Butler County Storm Water District and Liberty Twp., according to the engineer’s office.
