The Butler County Engineer’s Office is alerting motorists to a signal change at the intersection of Liberty Way and Cox Road in Liberty and West Chester townships.

The signal operation at Liberty Way and Cox Road has been changed effective today. Both eastbound and westbound left turn operations on Liberty Way to Cox Road have been modified to a protected-only left turn movement.

This means that vehicles making a left turn onto Cox Road will only be able to do so on a green left turn arrow. This will help facilitate safer traffic flow through the intersection, the engineer said.
