Savon Davis, 23, was the alleged robber of the prescription medication, and Calvin Tribble, 19, was the driver of the vehicle, said Lt. Scott Reeve.
A 15-year-old boy was also in the vehicle. Reeve said police are still trying to determine his role in today’s robbery.
Police said they suspect the same three people attempted to rob the CVS Pharmacy on Tuesday, but when they thought an employee was calling police, they quickly left the store, dropping the note demanding prescription medication.
Reeve said Davis allegedly passed a similar note in the robberies that occurred at the same location on March 23 and April 4. There are also some similarities to robberies that have occurred at various CVS locations throughout southwest Ohio, Reeve said. He said no weapon was shown today and the stolen prescriptions were recovered.
Reeve declined to say how much or what prescriptions were stolen.
Davis and Tribble are scheduled to be arraigned in Middletown Muncipal Court later this week.

The police department said there were “similarities” between this robbery and two unsolved robberies that occurred at the CVS pharmacy location on March 23 and April 4.
INITIAL REPORT:
Middletown police are questioning four people about a robbery that occurred today at a Middletown CVS pharmacy.
There have been a rash of robberies of area pharmacies, and Lt. Jimmy Cunningham said detectives are working with other agencies to determine if they may be connected.
An employee of a Middletown CVS pharmacy, 820 S. Breiel Blvd., gave “a great description” of the man who allegedly robbed the store this afternoon of medications, police said.
Five minutes after police arrived at the pharmacy, officer Jerry Mossman located a person matching the description of the suspect, Cunningham said.
The driver and three passengers were detained and all are being interviewed this afternoon by detectives, Cunningham said. He said evidence from the scene also is being processed.
The suspect received medications from the pharmacy, then fled the store and drove down Roosevelt Boulevard, according to Cunningham.
He wouldn’t say whether the suspect passed a note demanding medications from the pharmacist. He said no weapon was displayed and there were no injuries.
CVS employees declined to comment this afternoon.
