He was 52.
Aguirre-Sacasa tweeted about the scene, saying “Fred’s imparting words of wisdom to Archie. A beautiful, true moment between a father and his son.”

The show also planned to deal with Perry’s death, said Cole Sprouse, who appeared on the show with the former “90210” star, during an appearance on “The View.”
"I can't go too much into the spoilers of it, but we do have something planned narratively," the Jughead Jones actor said, according to ET.
Perry's last episode of "Riverdale" will air Wednesday at 8 p.m. on the CW, according to People magazine.
