“I would just say that Christian Bale finally had the chance to play a real superhero, and he clearly screwed it up,” Liz Cheney said Wednesday morning on “Fox and Friends.”

Cheney said she has not seen the film about her father’s rise to power in Washington as George W. Bush’s vice president, but she said she is very fond of her dad.

“I’m obviously incredibly proud of my dad, very proud and honored to be his daughter,” she said.

Cheney also took a few shots on social media at Bale, who has played Batman three times in a trio of movies, about 2008 assault allegations.

"Satan probably inspired him to do this, too," Cheney posted on Twitter.

No charges were ever filed in the case.
