A leader with more than 20 years of experience in strategic planning, program expansion, and operations management, Kirkpatrick is passionate about developing strong cultures that promote quality, growth and successful outcomes, according to officials with Community First.
“I am incredibly confident in Brett’s ability to lead Community First well into the future. His commitment to serving the community and his breadth of expertise in our diverse service areas will drive the continued growth of the organization,” Thurman said of his successor. “Brett truly understands the importance of supporting the ongoing revitalization of the city of Hamilton, and the connectivity between the growth of our community and the growth of our mission.”

Kirkpatrick’s more than 10-year tenure with TriHealth has seen him hold leadership roles, serving most recently as executive director of operations at TriHealth’s McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford and Bethesda Butler Hospital in Hamilton.
Kirkpatrick said his first focus will be connecting with people across Community First “from the dedicated staff within our various service lines, to the residents who live on our campuses and the clients we serve.”
He said he also is “very excited” to further collaborative partnerships throughout the community and the opportunity to build upon 100 years of success.

“I’ve spent the vast majority of leadership tenure within the post-acute environment and have a deep passion for this area,” Kirkpatrick said. “The wide spectrum of services and the organization’s commitment to meeting the needs of our community clearly show Community First Solutions dedication and how well positioned they are for the changing healthcare environment.”
