Cincinnati Commercial Contracting plans to break ground Wednesday on a new strip center in Monroe that will include a Penn Station with a drive-thru.

The fast-food restaurant will be located across the street from the Skyline Chili at 1321 Ohio 63 in 1,505-square-feet of space within the new Retail 63, just half a mile from Cincinnati Premium Outlets.

“Monroe has never been hotter,” said Joshua Rothstein of OnSite Retail Group, following Bed Bath & Beyond’s recent announcement of a $33 million e-commerce center and the completion of Amazon’s 1 million-square-foot fulfillment center.

With a new nail salon that leased the space next-door to Penn Station, only 8,000 square feet are left in this development, according to Rothstein.

“We look forward to leasing to tenants that best serve this growing area,” he said.

Rothstein said he could not yet disclose the name of the nail salon business coming to the strip center.
