A fast-casual sub sandwich franchise is set to open a new location early next year in the same shopping center as a Kroger.

Jersey Mike's Subs serves meats and cheese sliced upon order with bread baked in-store and fresh condiments. The new location along Yankee Road between Wing Eye Care and Han's White Tiger Tae Kwon Do will join locations in Fairfield, Mason and Maineville.

Headquartered in Manasquan, N.J., the Jersey Mike’s franchise has nearly 1,500 locations nationwide and about 70 more in development. It was named the country’s fastest-growing Limited Service Chain and fastest-growing sandwich chain in the 2018 Nation’s Restaurant News Top 100.

The new Liberty Twp. location is hiring full and part time workers. Those interested may email mikesubs4@gmail.com. Crew members average more than $10 an hour, according to the company.

Franchise owner Larry Rover and his family own five Jersey Mike’s Subs locations in addition to the Liberty Twp. location, including stores in Maineville and Symmes Twp., plus three in Lexington, Ky.

Rover joined the company in 2009 as a company store manager. After two years in the role, he was asked to become an area director overseeing markets in Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana. He moved from managing one restaurant to 40 in the area.
