The Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce is using its website to inform people about what businesses are open, and encourage use of them.

The city of Hamilton, meanwhile, has a “COVID-19 Local Impact” webpage that lets citizens know what services are curtailed, that public access to the city building is temporarily restricted, and other information about what’s happening.

The chamber website’s main page states, “Our small businesses rely on the community to survive. These businesses remain open to provide food, products, services and entertainment to our community.”

It urges, "Please continue to support local and shop small!" before listing about 36 businesses at the moment. Click here to visit the site for restaurant and business information.

Among the news on the city's website is that the city no longer is cutting off utility accounts for non-payment during the coronavirus period. Click here to visit the site for city updates.
