Changes at Cincinnati casino mean new general manager

As the ownership and management of Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati changes, a new general manager has also been named to oversee the property’s day-to-day activities.

Caesars Entertainment Operating Co. already announced this year plans to sell its ownership shares in the casino and other Ohio gambling venues. Rock Gaming LLC will own 100 percent of Horseshoe Casino Cleveland, ThistleDown Racino, Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati, the Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland, Higbee Building and a controlling interest in Turfway Park, according to the company.

Now operations management is also changing hands from Caesars to Rock Gaming, a process expected to be completed next year.

Chad Barnhill, senior vice president and general manager of Horseshoe Casino Baltimore will assume the role of general manager of Horseshoe Cincinnati in December, Rock Gaming announced Tuesday.

Horseshoe Cincinnati will be rebranded and a new loyalty program that perks and benefits will be introduced. Customers seeking more information are asked to go online to www.Rock-Gaming.com/guestinformation.
