Once laid off during the economic downturn, Sharene Hill of Oxford started her own business at the beginning of 2013. The Fairfield-based company, Pro Fast Delivery, is a courier service delivering packages for businesses. The company specializes in deliveries in a 150-mile radius surrounding Cincinnati, generally from Lebanon to Florence, Ky., and between Batavia and Harrison.

Pro Fast’s time sensitive deliveries range from high-priority envelopes to 10 skids of product or equipment that reach their destination in a box truck.

“We’re the most caring courier in the city,” Hill said.

She told us her long-term goals to grow the small business: “We will end up brokering truckloads. We will end up offering our customer anything they end,” she said.
