A woman was killed and a man seriously injured in a Friday night rollover crash on Interstate 75 in West Chester Twp.

Cathy Frazier, 60, of West Chester Twp., was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

She was a passenger in a 2016 Lexus GX headed south on I-75 driven by 64-year-old William Frazier, who swerved around 8 p.m. to avoid an unknown black BMW that made an improper lane change in front of the Lexus, the patrol said.

William Frazier lost control of the SUV, which overturned and went off the left side of the highway. Both occupants were thrown from the SUV.

West Chester EMS took William Frazier to UC West Chester Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation and anyone with information is asked to call the Hamilton Post at 513-863-4607.

The highway patrol was assisted by the West Chester Police Department, West Chester Fire and EMS and the Butler County Coroner’s Office.
