Two Fairfield Schools students were followed by a man driving a white van Wednesday after they got off the bus.

A girl reported to officials Thursday that she and her friend were followed after they got off at their school bus stop in the area of Boehm Drive in Fairfield, according to a Fairfield police release.

The man got out of the van and followed one girl, but he and the girls did not speak or have contact, police said.

The van is described as a white panel van with an extended top, no side windows but with gray windows in back. The driver is a white, heavy-set man wearing a gray sweatshirt and gray sweatpants with holes in the knees.

As a precaution, officers were in the area during school dismissal time and will continue to monitor the area, police said.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Fairfield police at 513-829-8201.
