Liberty Twp. woman charged with multiple counts of animal cruelty after cats found

Upon further investigation the deputy dog warden discovered seven cats, with four of them inside medium wire dog cages. The other three cats were running inside the trailer with floors covered with empty opened cans of cat food and large piles of soiled cat litter, according to the dog warden.

“The living conditions of these animals were not fit for man nor beast, just deplorable, this will not be tolerated,” said Sheriff Richard K. Jones.

Lloyd was charged with seven misdemeanor counts of cruelty to companion animals.

There was no court date scheduled for Lloyd in Butler County Area II Court as of Friday afternoon.
