The Butler County Grand Jury returned 28 indictments during its second session in January. The grand jury also returned one case to the lower courts for further disposition.

Cesar Vasquez, 30, of Fairfield was arrested at 7:12 p.m. Jan. 4 on Mack and Ross roads on suspicion of driver’s license required, providing false information to the police and speeding.

Tara Lynn Wood, 18, of Hamilton was arrested at 7:22 p.m. Jan. 4 in the 6300 block of South Gilmore Road on suspicion of petty theft.

Emma K. Mahon, 20, of Fairfield was arrested at 12:31 a.m. Jan. 5 in the 5200 block of Southgate Boulevard on suspicion of disorderly conduct.

Branden K. Burns, 20, of Fairfield was arrested at 12:40 a.m. on suspicion of resisting arrest.

Tony M. Monk, 44, of Fairfield was arrested at 11:39 p.m. Jan. 5 in the 500 block of Wessel Drive on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired and expired drivers license.

Anthony Tyler Hollingsworth, 24, of Hamilton was arrested at 5:07 a.m. Jan. 7 in the 4700 block of Fairfield Avenue on suspicion of complicity to attempted theft and complicity to theft.

Paul Earnest Shackleford, 36, of Hamilton was arrested at 5:09 a.m. Jan. 7 on Fairfield Avenue at Wyoming Avenue on suspicion of attempted theft.

Barton E. Burger, 75, of Fairfield was arrested at noon Jan. 7 in the 500 block of Wessel Drive on suspicion of petty theft.

Jonathan Michael Carroll, 33, of Hamilton was arrested at 3:06 p.m. Jan. 7 at the Butler County Jail on suspicion of petty theft for an incident in the 4600 block of Pleasant Avenue.

The theft of an undisclosed amount of money occurred at 2:43 a.m. Jan. 8 from Speedway, 4511 Pleasant Avenue.

David Ramos, 25, of Cincinnati was arrested at 1:47 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 6500 block of Dixie Highway on suspicion of forgery and receiving stolen property. Marcel Ramires, 25, of Cincinnati also was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property and attempt.

Kyle B. Arnett, 23, of Mt. Healthy was arrested on suspicion of felonious assault at 1:45 p.m. Jan. 9 at the Hamilton County Justice Center for an offense in the 100 block of Cincinnati Mills Drive.

The theft of $600 in jewelry occurred between 2:30 and 8:50 p.m. Jan. 9 from a home on Ricky Court.

Antonio A. Mathis, 25, of Cincinnati was arrested at 3:16 a.m. Jan. 10 in the 100 block of Cincinnati Mills Drive on suspicion of assault, resisting arrest and criminal trespass.

The theft of Wii and XBox game consoles and associated games occurred before 2 p.m. Jan. 10 from a home in the 4400 block of Whitmore Lane. Reported total value is $600.

Timothy Montez Mosley, 26, of Cincinnati was arrested on suspicion of theft at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Fairfield Police Department for an offense in the 3500 block of Woodridge Boulevard.

David Robert Haft, 18, of Hamilton was arrested at 7:54 p.m. Jan. 11 on Bobmeyer Road at Dixie Highway on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired.

The theft of $2,000 and $34 in medicine occurred before 4:43 p.m. Thursday,

Jan. 14, from a home in the 5200 block of Pleasant Avenue.

James M. Miller, 55, of Hamilton was arrested at 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, on Hicks Boulevard at Nilles Road on suspicion of operating a vehicle while impaired and driving under suspension.

James Luther Bishop, 37, of Fairfield was arrested at 6:55 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, in the 5500 block of Dixie Highway on suspicion of petty theft.

Fairfield Twp. Police Department

The theft of a laptop occurred between 11 p.m. Jan. 3 and 7:40 a.m. Jan. 4 from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 2600 block of Leslie Lee Court. Reported value is $1,000.

Albert Lamb, 29, of Fairfield Twp. was arrested at 3 a.m. Jan. 5 on Pater Avenue for an incident in the 2100 block of Fairfax Avenue on suspicion of criminal damaging/endangering, criminal trespass and theft.

The theft of a 22-foot walk board for scaffolding occurred between 4 p.m. Jan. 5 and 8 a.m. Jan. 6 from a home in the 7000 block of Heib Lane. Reported value is $1,000.

The theft of $2,000, two car titles and two property deeds occurred between 2:30 and 8 a.m. Jan. 6 from a home in the 1900 block of Milton Street.

Charlotte Ungerbuhlar, 29, of Hamilton was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 6 in the 3200 block of Princeton Road on suspicion of petty theft.

Troy S. Manley, 27, of Hamilton was arrested at 3:25 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 3200 block of Princeton Road on suspicion of theft.

Christopher L. Cowell, 26, of Hamilton was arrested at 5:38 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 3200 block of Princeton Road on suspicion of theft.

Joseph L. Singletary, 42, of Hamilton was issued a summons at 5:05 p.m. Jan. 11 on suspicion of petty theft for an offense in the 3400 block of Princeton Road.

Brian D. Denterlein, 28, of Fairfield Twp. was arrested at 6:56 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, in the 1900 block of Milton Street on suspicion of assault.

The theft of a wallet occurred at 1:29 p.m. Jan. 8 at Kroger on Oxford State Road.

Civil problems were reported at 2:01 p.m. Jan. 8 at Creekwood Village on South Main Street. Subjects were served an eviction notice and are still there.

A complaint of a dog tied to a tree was reported at 11:12 p.m. Jan. 8 on Old Street.

The theft of items at Monroe Shell were reported at 10:53 p.m. Jan. 9 on Hamilton Lebanon Road.

A suspicious person touched an employee after following her to work at the Gap at Cincinnati Premium Outlets at 1:55 p.m. Jan. 9 on Premium Outlet Drive.

An emergency 911 hang up call of a shoplifter in custody at Saks Off 5th Avenue was reported at 6:16 p.m. Jan. 9 on Premium Outlet Drive.

Counterfeiting of unlicensed and illegal NFL merchandise being sold at various vendors booths was reported at 11:03 a.m. Jan. 10 at Traders World on Union Road.

An unwanted person was arrested after being evicted and returning to property at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 10 on South Main Street.

A theft at Ultra Diamonds at Cincinnati Premium Outlets was reported at 10:55 a.m. Jan. 11 on Premium Outlet Drive.

Bad check activity was reported at Greentree Stables at 3:36 p.m. Jan. 11 on Greentree Road.

A theft was reported at Kohl’s Distribution Center at 9:48 a.m. Jan. 12 on Salzman Road.

A theft was reported at Kroger at 3:29 p.m. Jan. 12 on Oxford State Road.

Failure to pay was reported at Speedway at 4:13 p.m. Jan. 12 on Oxford State Road.

A juvenile complaint of an unruly 5-year-old girl was reported at 5 p.m. Jan. 12 in Monroe.

A suspicious vehicle parked in front of Rochester Hills Drive was reported at 8:24 p.m. Jan. 12.

West Chester Twp. Police Department

Someone busted out the driver’s side window of a 2005 Mazda RX-8 overnight Jan. 13 while it was parked in the 7500 block of Shawnee Lane. A global positioning device was stolen. The total estimated value of the item and the damages is $400. Two other similar incidents occurred in the same block of Shawnee and the 5400 block of Aster Park Drive, according to reports.

Someone stole a 2007 Dodge Caliber between 7-7:10 p.m., Jan. 18, while it was parked at a home in the 5400 block of Aster Park Drive. The vehicle, valued at $8,000, had Maryland license plates, with an Ohio State University license frame, according to reports.

Police are investigating a theft from Walmart last week. Police say that between 12:15-12:25 p.m., Jan. 11, a suspect walked out of the store at 8288 Cincinnati-Dayton Road with an HP 300 desktop computer valued at $300. Police said Walmart loss prevention officers believe the same suspect has been responsible for similar recent incidents at stores in Fairfield, Forest Park and Alexandria, Ky.

A Cincinnati man was arrested last weekend for allegedly driving drunk after police saw him driving south in the northbound lanes of Interstate 75.

Larry R. Wilson, 25, of the 2000 block of Misty Hill Drive, was arrested at approximately 4:15 a.m., Jan. 17.

Police said he failed field sobriety tests and that his blood alcohol level was 0.187. The legal limit in Ohio is 0.08.

Police said he was first observed at the Union Centre Boulevard interchange at Interstate 75 when he was seen taking the exit the wrong way. He was stopped after entering the highway near the Crescentville Road overpass. He has cited and released to his mother.

A West Chester Twp. man was arrested on felony charges last week after he allegedly severely injured his girlfriend with a knife during a fight. According to police, the incident happened on Dec. 30, 2009. Douglas C. Rees, 18, of the 8100 block of Clearbrook Drive, allegedly came after his girlfriend with a knife. The victim’s injury required surgery, and the attack was considered a felony.

Rees was arrested on the second-degree felonious assault charge at his West Chester home Jan. 13.

Police are investigating a theft of thousands of dollars in razors and drugs from the local Meijer. Police said a suspect stole more than $2,880 worth of razors and boxes of Prilosec from the store, located at 7390 Tylersville Road, overnight Oct. 19, 2009.
