Police are looking for the suspect after multiple shots were fired today in a Middletown neighborhood.

At about 12:30 p.m., shots were fired at a house in the 100 block of Ellen Drive, and the suspect apparently drove a short distance and shot at a second house, said Middletown Maj. Scott Reeve.

A domestic dispute between brothers is apparently the cause of the shooting, police said. Police are looking for a male suspect from Batavia who reportedly left the scene in a “black sporty type vehicle, perhaps a BMW,” Reeve said.

A total of five shots were fired. There were no injuries, but it was a close call for one neighbor who was standing near the door when a bullet hit the door frame, according to police.
