Aleihia Bailey, 23, and Kendrick Deponcho Prater, 25, both of the 1200 block of Lane Street, were sitting in a Lexus outside the residence at about 11 a.m. when “the suspect ran up on (victims) and fired several rounds from a firearm (into the vehicle) striking both victims,” according to the police report.
Bailey suffered a bullet wound to the upper right leg, and Kendrick’s arm was grazed by a bullet, according to the report.
Officer Kristy Collins said this morning that there have been no arrests.

A second vehicle, a Chevrolet Impala, parked next to the Lexus was also hit by gunfire.
A 911 caller said she heard “pop pop, pop, pop. I jumped up. My kids were in the house.”
The female caller said her son’s girlfriend was hit. The suspects ran from the scene into an alley.
It is the second double shooting in the city in less that a month. On Dec. 28, two teens were found shot.
Hamilton police Sgt. Richard Burkhardt said the shootings of two teen males happened in the 100 block of Beckett Street. Names of the victims were not released. Both were taken to area hospitals for treatment.
According to the police report, officers were responding to a call of shots fired in the 100 block of Beckett at about 8:39 p.m. They also received a call that a male was lying motionless in the back alley.
The officers found the victim, a 16-year-old boy, in the alley with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Fort Hamilton Hospital and later transferred by medical helicopter to University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

While still at the shooting scene, officers learned that another male, a 15-year-old boy, had arrived a Fort Hamilton Hospital by private vehicle with a gunshot wound, according to the report.
Police say both victims are expected to survive.
Officer Kristy Collins said there have been no arrests in either incident and detectives do not believe the shootings are related.
