Cocaine, drug tools, cash seized in Butler County drug bust

Two people were arrested Tuesday when the Butler County Undercover Regional Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant in Fairfield.

A residence in the first block of South Timer Hollow Drive was searched, and a large amount of cash, drug paraphernalia and cocaine was confiscated.

Carlos V. Mayo Jr., 32, was arrested on multiple warrants out of several jurisdictions and charged with possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs, both first-degree felonies. Avery Candice Galliher was also arrested on a warrant from Hamilton.

“I am sending a clear message to drug traffickers in Butler County. We are coming after you and won’t give up until you are arrested and held accountable for the lives you destroy on a daily basis,” said Butler County Sheriff Richard Jones.
