The victim told officers a man and woman asked him for a ride to Wilbraham Road, and he refused. The suspects then opened each door of the Jeep, and the man displayed a handgun and ordered him out of the vehicle, according to police.
The suspects demanded that the man empty his pocket, and he gave them his cash. They then drove away with the Jeep.
Using Officer Lindsey Schwarber, police dog Maverick and video from a nearby residence, the stolen vehicle was tracked to a residence on Carmody Boulevard.
A search of the residence turned up a BB gun police say was used in the incident and items taken from the victim’s Jeep, including his wallet, medication, clothes, shoes and a Playstation with accessories, according to police.
