Butler County crews treating roads after overnight winter storm

The Butler County Engineer’s Office has had crews out since last night, and plows are still out salting this morning after overnight snowfall caused an accumulation of several inches.

“Roads are in good condition generally,” spokeswoman Betsy Horton said. “We aren’t expecting more precipitation today, but because of the frigid temperatures, motorists should keep an eye out for slick patches on the road where snow has blown and turned to ice. The crew is out checking for those places and treating them this morning.”
