The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Butler County surpassed 100 on Wednesday, and there remained two deaths.

The Butler County General Health District issues case counts every afternoon, and the total has reached 101. As of yesterday Health Commissioner Jenny Bailer said 28 people have recovered from the disease.

Bailer said now is not the time to relax.

“We are still increasing the number of cases in Butler County but we’re not going up at the steep curve,” she said. “We’re doing a good job in Ohio, our social distancing is working, we’re washing our hands, we’re doing a really good job of slowing this down. Does that mean it’s time to stop doing that? No way.”
