Hamilton’s High Street will have lane restrictions for the three blocks downtown between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Front Street each day from today through Friday so crews can perform tree-trimming.

The partial closures are scheduled to happen between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.

“The project is designed to help ensure reliable and safe electric service for area residents,” city officials said in a news release. “The city apologizes for any inconvenience created by the lane restrictions.”

Here are other Hamilton closures nearby:

  • North Monument Street will continue to be closed daily through Friday from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. between High Street and Market Street. Also affected will be Market Street from North Monument to Riverfront Plaza Road, whose closure will extend until Friday. These road closures and lane restrictions are needed while crews install the gas main and perform restoration as part of the 2017 Marcum Apartment Gas & Water Main Replacement Project.
  • Also closed as part of the Marcum project will be North Second Street from Buckeye to Dayton streets, also through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The stretch will be subject to a road closure beginning Friday through Sept. 22, beginning each day at 7 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
