Tim Hortons opens first Butler County location today

Butler County’s first Tim Hortons opens today at 431 S. Locust St. in Oxford.

The Canadian multinational fast food restaurant is best known for its coffee and doughnuts, but also offers specialty beverages including lattes, cappuccinos, espresso, iced and frozen coffee, hot chocolate and tea.

It also serves meals and snacks any time of day, including “Timbits,” the restaurant’s signature bite-sized doughnut holes. There’s also a range of soups and made-to-order sandwiches, grilled paninis and wraps.

The new Oxford restaurant signed a 10-year lease with Joshua Rothstein and Kristine Davidson of OnSite Retail Group for 2,000 square feet in Oxford’s newly constructed Bishop Square shopping center and will provide drive-through service at the opposite end of the same new building.

Hours are 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.
