1. Business owners have local ties
Anthony DiLorenzo, the owner of Ohio Craft Cultivators is a native of Fairfield but after going to the University of New Hampshire, he opted to stay there. His sister, Debbie Gorman, lives in Oakwood.
2. Deal was reached in one week
The entire deal between Carlisle and Ohio Craft Cultivators took one week to complete. Village Council said Monday it believed it had completed its due diligence. After council approved the legislation, the contracts were signed and notarized
3. Multi-million dollar investment for 20 to 25 jobs
The proposed investment at the Carlisle Business Park to build the growing facility’s first phase will be between $4 million and $5 million and could create between 20 and 25 jobs. T
he village sold the land for $45,000 an acre and proceeds will go to pay off the debt for infrastructure improvements at the business park six years ahead of schedule.
