The long-awaited Quarter Barrel Brewery & Pub is set to make its debut today at 103 Main St. in Hamilton.

Hours for the soft opening will be 4 p.m. to 9 p.m today through Saturday.

The restaurant, which has a location at 107 E. Church St. in Oxford, offers craft beers, a diverse wine selection and a varied menu that includes traditional American “up-casual bistro pub fare” and comfort food, with nightly specials.

“In the beginning, the menu will be the same as Oxford, featuring local steak and burgers as well as Armenian lavosh, a cracker based, thin-crust entree,” said owner Brandon Ney. “We have three of our popular beers that we have brewed in Oxford available at the soft open, including our gold medal winning Grisette, Chapeau Gris.”

The new Quarter Barrel Brewery & Pub features something to look forward to once warmer temperatures arrive: Rooftop dining overlooking the Great Miami River and Hamilton’s downtown.

Ney said said the building at the southwest corner of Main and B Streets is “a premier location” for such a venture.

A grand opening is planned as soon as Quarter Barrel’s serving tanks are full, which should be in approximately three weeks.

Hiring continues for the new location. Those who wish to apply may email a resume and availability to qbhiring@gmail.com.
