Police looking for suspect in Hamilton bank robbery

Hamilton police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Monday at First Financial Bank, 970 Main St.

Police said the suspect walked into the bank just before 2 p.m. and gave the teller a note advising that he had a gun and demanded cash.

The suspect took an undetermined amount of money and fled the bank on foot.

Police searched the area for the suspect, who was caught on the bank’s surveillance video. The suspect never displayed a weapon, police said.

The suspect is described as a white man, medium build and about 6-foot to 6-foot-2 in height, with dark hair and a beard.
