If you plan to consume alcohol, the OVI Task Force recommends these tips:
Officials ask that you plan a safe way home before festivities begin.
- Before drinking, designate a sober driver and give that person your keys.
- If you are impaired, use a taxi, call a sober friend or family member so you are sure to get home safely.
- If you happen to see an impaired driver, contact the local law enforcement agency.
