Naked man stops traffic in Middletown

A Cincinnati man was transported to a Middletown hospital after rolling around naked in traffic, according to Middletown police.

Officers were called about 10:50 p.m. Saturday to the intersection of Kensington Street and Roosevelt Boulevard on a call of a man completely nude running in the road.

The man was “rolling in the lanes of travel causing several vehicles to slam on their brakes in efforts not to run over (him),” according to the police report.

When officers activated overhead lights on the cruiser, the man ran into a grassy area. He was bleeding from various locations of his body, according to police. The man was placed in the cruiser and take to Atrium Medical Center for treatment.

Officers said the man was combative and making unusual statements including he had needles in his neck and people were trying to kill him.

At the hospital, he told medical staff he had taken acid, according to the police report.
