Police charged Devin Blanton, 27, of Middletown, with drug abuse heroin, possession of drug abuse instruments and a warrant through the Monroe police department.
Shaun Howard, 25, at large, was charged with drug abuse LSD, drug abuse methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse marijuana, police said.
Police were called to the McDonald’s, 2351 N. Verity Parkway, parking lot at 10 p.m. Wednesday because a passenger was passed out in a truck.
When police approached the truck, they saw a syringe sticking out of the passenger’s pocket and he was identified as Blanton. In Blanton’s wallet, police discovered a chunky substance that tested positive for heroin.
While police were searching, Howard walked out of McDonald’s and asked why there were looking in his truck. Howard allowed officers to search him and they found a discolored piece of paper that contained LSD, police said.
Police also found marijuana, methamphetamine and two syringes inside a fishing tackle box.
Both men were transported to the Middletown City Jail and the truck was impounded.
