The suspect is described by police as a light-skinned black male with some facial hair.

INITIAL REPORT:
Middletown police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Wednesday night at a convenience store.
A man displayed a gun and robbed the clerk at Willa D’s, 1308 Yankee Road, of cash, according to Middletown Police Lt. Scott Reeve.
The suspect walked into the store at 5:30 p.m., walked around the store, then committed the robbery, according to police. He fled on foot.
Reeve said detectives will be releasing photos and a description of the suspect later today.
