The repairs were needed to maintain flow in the sewer line and limit bypasses into the Great Miami River, which the line runs along, according to Scott Tadych, city public works director.
The additional repairs replaced 152 feet of 48-inch pipe that partially collapsed in mid-March near Windsor Avenue, about a half-mile from the original project.
