A Middletown business has partnered with alcohol delivery service Drizly.

Middletown Fine Wine & Spirits partnered with the service that is now available in Middletown, Columbus, Akron and the suburbs of Cleveland, among nearly 40 cities across the United States and Canada.

Available at www.Drizly.com or via the Drizly app, the service offers beer, wine and low-proof spirits delivery in a 5-mile radius or 15 travel minutes for between $3 and $6 an order, depending on the distance.

Customers enter an address to see items available for delivery in one hour or less, at a scheduled time or for in-store pickup.

“Drizly was approaching anybody and everybody in Cincinnati and Dayton but nobody had the technical capability or capacity at the time to do what they needed done to get the inventories online, have enough people to manage deliveries and all that stuff,” said Sanket Patel, the manager of Middletown Fine Wine & Spirits.

“We didn’t have anything to lose by partnering with them and something good could come of it,” he said.
