Eaton’s police chief resigns, accepts Kettering Health position

Eaton Police Chief Chad DePew is leaving the department to take a position with Kettering Health Network, the chief confirmed to this news outlet Wednesday.

DePew said he accepted the position of Assistant Chief with Kettering Health Network’s police department and will start on Monday, Jan. 22.

His last day with the Eaton Police Department is Friday.

Sgt. Eric Beeghly has been named interim chief until Eaton’s city council appoints a replacement next month, DePew said.
