A fire in a Middletown apartment building last month has been ruled arson and a reward is being offered for information.

The Middletown Arson Task Force has determined the fire that occurred at 3227 Tytus Ave. at 1:30 a.m. Aug. 5 was intentionally set.

Four people were inside the four-unit apartment building at the time of the fire. There were no reported injuries.

Items were removed from the building just before the fire was started, according to investigators, who are reviewing video in this case and have conducted numerous interviews.

A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information related to the fire.
