Hamilton leaders want to know how city residents and business people would improve Ohio 4, and tonight is when they’d like to hear about it.

For at least the past year, when businesses have requested conditional uses for businesses that don’t precisely fit with existing zoning, Vice Mayor Carla Fiehrer and other have urged the city to come up with a plan for improving the looks of the hapazard transportation corridor — one of the city’s most significant.

It features a hodge podge architecture and clashing colors of buildings, featuring run-down motels, more than two-dozen automobile sales companies or related companies, such as sellers of new and used tires. Many of the grassy areas along the highway are run down.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at Miami University Hamilton in Conference Room B. The focus will be redevelopment and reinvestment along the corridor.
