COLUMBIA BRIDGE
- East bound traffic on Pershing Avenue between Pyramid Hill and Neilan Boulevard (Columbia Bridge) has been shifted from the two southerly outside lanes to the two inside lanes beginning.
- Lane closures will remain in effect through the end of October, while crews continue work on pavement, sidewalk and railing repair, and substructure work under the bridge.
- Two lanes will remain open each direction, except from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. when traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
- Arrow boards, signs, and pavement markings will be in place.
WITT WAY
- Witt Way will be closed between Court Street and Butler Street beginning today, Aug. 15, at 7 a.m. for approximately three months. The closure is necessary for rehabilitation of Witt Way Bridge over Ohio 129/High Street, according to the city.
- Access to local driveways within the closure will be maintained.
- Traffic will be detoured onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, where a detour route will be posted.
NORTH DICK AVENUE
- North Dick Avenue from Lawrence Avenue to Helma Avenue will be subject to a road closure daily through Friday, Aug. 18, beginning each day at 7 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
- Residents in the closure limits will be granted access to driveways.
- The road closure is necessary to complete the gas main tie-ins and perform restoration as part of a replacement project, according to the city.
SOUTH SECOND STREET
- South Second Street between Knightbridge Drive and Hanover Street will be closed to through traffic daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Friday, Oct. 27.
- This closure is necessary for roadway improvements, as part of the Concrete Repair and Resurfacing Project, according to the city. Detours will be posted.
COLUMBIA ROAD
- Columbia Road between Windsor Drive and Golfview Drive will be subject to lane closures beginning daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 18.
- Two-way traffic will be maintained using flagging operations.
- The lane restrictions are required to perform tree trimming for maintenance on Potter's Golf Course Trees and Columbia Park, according to the city.
PERSHING AVENUE/OHIO 128
- Pershing Avenue (Ohio 128) between Neilan Boulevard and South Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard (US 127) will have daily lane closures from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Wednesday, Aug. 16, to Wednesday, Aug. 23.
- The lane closures are necessary to perform pavement repairs prior to resurfacing the street, according to the city.
