The business, which had 60 children’s costumes donated to it, will be giving them away during the open house on a first-come, first-served basis.
It also will offer sign ups for three different drawings to win family pizza night for after opening day.
The menu at Blast Furnace Pizza, named for Middletown’s steel-making history, will focus on pizza, salads and desserts, with a party room that should be ready by winter.
Blast Furnace also plans to work with local nonprofit organizations to help with fundraising efforts, holding a “Community Caring, Community Sharing” fundraising night every Thursday night, according to the business.
