“We are still doing an investigation so we don’t know for sure if the fire started in the garage,” Wirtz said. “I haven’t even been in the house yet, but (the fire) did pretty heavy damage to the garage and I don’t know how much to the house.”
Wirtz said that there were no injuries.
“There were some people at home, but they got out fine,” he said.
Firefighters remained on the scene because the fire “is pretty much out, but we are battling a couple of hot spots.”
