Both businesses are slated to open next year, with Dunkin’ Donuts opening by the spring and being followed by Popeyes.
“It’s a welcome business amenity to the city, and we’re glad to see that they’re expanding,” said Kevin Chesar, Monroe’s director of development. “We’re always trying to enhance the view of the … gateway into the city and … both Popeyes and Dunkin’ Donuts have worked with us to try to make sure and meet our architectural and design criteria and our landscaping expectations.”
