Woman facing criminal charge after she doesn’t have $92 cab fare

An evening at a Cincinnati casino turned unlucky for a Middletown woman when she couldn’t find her debit card when she got home and was unable to pay her $92 cab fare, according to Middletown police.

A driver for Best Way Taxi told police he picked up a woman Wednesday night from a Cincinnati casino and drove her to a residence in the 1700 block of Flemming Road. The woman told the driver she needed to find her debit card.

The cab driver called police after the passenger couldn’t locate her debit card. She was cited for defrauding a livery, a first-degree misdemeanor.
