911 CALL: Crowds, guns, pot describe scene of fatal Hamilton shooting

Several people called 911 the night of a fatal shooting, including residents who said a large crowd had gathered just before shots rang out and a white Toyota sped away from the scene.

One caller reported hearing four shots and seeing several men loitering in the cul-de-sac.

“Somebody got shot, they are putting him in a car,” the woman screamed while on the 911 call.

Hamilton firefighters also called dispatchers to report shots fired in the area just after 11 p.m. The city’s fire headquarters is located about 1,000 feet from the scene of the shooting.
