Police name 2 suspects in Hamilton fight that led to shots fired

Hamilton police are looking for two people they say were involved in an incident that led to gun shots fired on Corwin Avenue in Lindenwald.

Police are searching for Aldo Mancebo, 15, of Hamilton, and Owen Dawson, 18, of Hamilton,, Sgt. Brian Robinson told the Journal-News.

Both, he said, are wanted on felony charges in connection with the shooting incident.

Several 911 calls were made by people in the neighborhood who witnessed the incident.

“I’m on Corwin Avenue in Lindenwald and they fired a shot and someone punched a girl in the face and they are driving by with a busted out window,” one 911 caller told dispatchers. “Four shots fired and they took off north on 127….”

Another person who called 911 described the physical fight to dispatchers.

“There is someone fighting on the street and one woman is getting beat up pretty bad,” the second caller says. “They are still beating her. They are still going at it. Just feet and fists going crazy.”

Robinson warned that both suspects may be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s whereabouts should call 911, he said.
