Prosecutors rested their case on Tuesday after calling a series of experts who assisted in the investigation of the shooting that followed a four- to five-day methamphetamine binge, according to prosecutors.

Wilson, a Franklin High graduate living outside Lebanon, allegedly fired at least nine shots from a pistol pulled from beneath the front seat of a truck in which he and Jeremy T. Foxx were riding, shattering the back of his skull and sending bullets into one of the homes they were driving by on Dec. 25, 2016.
Dr. Mary Goolsby, of the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office, testified about her autopsy of Foxx.

Goolsby said drug users “feel like you can conquer the world” and also said users can become paranoid or restless as the drugs wear off.
Tests detected methamphetamine, amphetamine and the active ingredient in marijuana in Foxx’s body, she added.
It was unclear if the jury would begin deliberations Wednesday or Thursday.
