2nd Talawanda bomb threat leads to 2nd arrest

For the second time in eight days a bomb threat at Talawanda High School has led to the arrest of a student.

A 17-year-old male student was arrested today after allegedly making a bomb threat at the Butler County high school, said Oxford Police.

The threat was discovered at approximately 9:48 a.m. and police said officers responded to a bomb threat that was written on a toilet in a student restroom at the school at 5301 University Park Blvd.

The building was searched by police and the student was later arrested and has been charged with inducing panic, a felony of the second degree, and was transported to the Butler County Juvenile Detention Center.

On Feb. 14 a 14-year-old male student was charged with inducing panic, a felony, after a bomb threat was discovered in a restroom.
