Venturella, who said she attended cosmetology school at the Aveda Institute in New York City, continued to receive advanced training from Vidal Sassoon, Arrojo, and Davines, and for the past six years worked as a hair stylist at a high-end salon in Columbus.
“I wanted to start my own business to challenge myself,” she told the Journal-News. “For the past seven years I have created hair styles and I was ready to create something bigger and new. Once I heard of the revitalization happening in downtown Middletown, I was inspired and couldn’t wait to be a part of it.”
Construction on the interior of the salon should start in the coming days, she said.
