Jobs available in health care, restaurant, packaging industries

Dozens of jobs are available immediately in a variety of fields.

Millenium Nursing Agency is looking to hire 15 home health aides, according to spokeswoman Paula Adamore.

Ten of the positions are part-time and five are full-time, paying between $9 and $12 an hour. Direct care workers and home health aides would start at $9 to $10 an hour, with back-up aides starting at $10 to $11 an hour. Competitive salaries are available for licensed practical nurses and registered nurses.

Founded in June 2003, the Springdale-based Company whose business is in providing home health care to people in their individual homes, and providing short- and long-term staffing needs to several facilities.

Millenium Nursing Agency has 72 employees and is a provider agency for Department of Developmental Services. It services Passport clientele, providing skilled nursing with Medicaid and Medicare, occupational therapy and physical therapy.

Adamore said the company is looking to fill the positions by Feb. 1 and those applying should be “compassionate and dependable.”

A hiring event is scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at OhioMeansJobs-Butler County, 4631 Dixie Highway, Fairfield.

Also hiring in Butler County is Jack in the Box, which is looking to immediately fill openings for part-time and full-time team members, as well as team leaders on a full-time basis to work all shifts, according to Stacey Morrow, talent advisor.

“I need five team leaders and about eight team members,” Morrow said. “That number will vary depending on the hours the candidate wishes to work.”

Pay for each position is based on background and experience, she said.

Founded in 1951, the San Diego-based fast-food chain was the first major hamburger chain to develop and expand the concept of drive-thru dining. Jack in the Box has 2,200 restaurants in 21 states and Guam, including two corporate-owned restaurants in the Greater Cincinnati area, one in West Chester Twp. and the other in Cincinnati.

It employs more than 60 employees in the area and more than 20,000 nationwide.

Morrow said the idea Jack in the Box candidate is “energetic, self-aware and a people person.”

“Though this is a serious business, we try to not take ourselves too seriously and inject a little fun into the everyday tasks,” she said. “Our main focus is on the growth, development and morale of our team members.”

In Warren County, Graham Packaging Company is immediately hiring several maintenance technicians, machine operators and production workers for its location at 1225 Castle Dr. in Mason. A hiring event is scheduled there for 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
