Deerfield Twp. is looking for someone to develop a 110-acre greenfield site more commonly known as the former Kingswood golf course at 4188 Irwin-Simpson Road.

Deerfield Twp. today released a Request for Qualifications — or RFQ — to develop a 110-acre greenfield site more commonly known as the former Kingswood golf course at 4188 Irwin-Simpson Road.

“As more fully described in the RFQ, we are seeking to partner with a world-class developer in constructing a walkable, mixed-use development to accommodate residents, small scale businesses, office space, retail, hotels, entertainment venues, various residential structures, and civic spaces,” according to a release issued today by the township.

The development is intended to serve as the focal point of Deerfield Twp., Warren County’s largest and fastest-growing political subdivision, according to the release.

The site’s physical characteristics, proximity to major employers and attractions, and access to transportation infrastructure, such as Interstate 71, “uniquely position the site to attract potential residents, visitors and patrons,” the release said.

In addition to the RFQ, additional information about the property and project may be found at kingswood.choosedeerfield.com.

Interested parties may refer to the RFQ at www.tinyurl.com/DeerfieldRFQ for detailed instructions regarding responses, including contact information, submission timing requirements and required information.
