FIRST REPORT: Bargain Hunt plans Hamilton location
Bargain Hunt stores offer brand-name merchandise 30 percent to 50 percent below retail pricing, according to the company. Merchandise includes clothing for men, women and children; electronics, televisions, home furnishings, toys, bikes, sporting goods, outdoor gear, indoor and outdoor furniture and more.

Bargain Hunt discounts items by 10 percent 30 days after the date shown on the price tag every Markdown Day on the 1st, 10th and 20th of every month until an item reaches 90 percent off, according to the company.
Headquartered in La Vergne, Tenn., Bargain Hunt has 70 stores in states nationwide including Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina.
The new Hamilton location will be the discount chain’s seventh location in Ohio. The other six Ohio stores include two in the Cincinnati area, plus locations in Miamisburg, Columbus, Heath and Springfield.

The Hamilton store will be the 14th new Bargain Hunt store to open this year bringing the number of locations to 74, continuing the growth started in 2015 with 11 new locations, and in 2016 with 20 new locations. The company plans to open 25 or more new locations this year.
Hours for the new Hamilton Bargain Hunt will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.
